It was a slow start at first, but once she got her confidence she was all over the place!
She also began pointing more accurately toward things, which helped communication a bit better.
At her 9 month appointment, she was 16lbs 3 oz, and 26.5 inches long. She also has 8 teeth!
Now that she can move everywhere, one of her favorite places to be is in front of the back door window. She can see her beloved tree as it begins to grow leaves again!

Kaitlyn's also taking after her parents interests in technology. Here she is trying to hack into Daddy's laptop:
And of course every girl needs an iPhone! (She stole Daddy's)
After a cold, yucky winter, it was nice to get some warm days in March. We took advantage of it and visited the Botanical Gardens a few times.
Kaitlyn discovered a new favorite food this month: blueberries! She prefers the frozen ones, thawed out in the fridge. They tend to have softer skins than the fresh ones.

Since she has taken to finger foods pretty well, we tried spaghetti and meat sauce-she gobbled it up! Of course she was a mess afterwards, but it was nothing a bath couldn't fix!
Toward the end of the month, she began to pull up on furniture. Here she is at her Grandma and Papa's, standing by the couch.
She was excited to get a visit from her Uncle Mark too!
She always loves a visit from Grandma too. She and Papa are just a mile away so she sees her quite often!
A rare event happened this month also: We've seen pictures of other people's kids falling asleep at the table. Well, Miss Kaitlyn is always so stubborn about naps, we never thought we would see it happen. One day, after no morning nap, Kaitlyn did give up in the middle of lunch!
She looked so sweet. Mommy got her cleaned up and into the crib for a nice nap after taking the photo.
