It snowed again in mid February. Three big snows in one winter is probably a record for around here. We had several inches fall. Once again, we donned our snowgear and ventured out...
Kaitlyn's hands got cold (her snowsuit had mittens built in, but we had her hands exposed so she could feel the snow), so it was a short session. Inside, we put her other mittens on to warm her up:
Kaitlyn loves getting cards, so she was thrilled to receive several for Valentine's day. She has many admirers!
Mommy also received beautiful roses from Daddy:
Kaitlyn is trying a variety of finger foods at this point. She is still not a fan of veggies, but will eat fruits. Once she discovered chicken, and CHEESE!, she was in love.
Grammy and Grandpa Joe were able to make it for a visit. We took them to the Aquarium, where Kaitlyn guided them through the Red Sea Tunnel:
The morning they had to set out for home, we ate at one of our favorite breakfast places, Pancakes n Things!
No pancakes for Kaitlyn just yet, but she did enjoy a bit of wheat toast.
As an early Easter gift, her grandparents brought her a singing bunny. Kaitlyn loved it! Once she learned to turn it on and off, we heard the song quite a bit.
Our mischievous girl is able to scoot around, so she of course ends up in places we'd rather her not be, like dangerously close to the coffee table edge. So, it had to be removed from the living room for a little while to give her more exploration room.!

And of course, what kid doesn't like Cheerios? It's a staple of any American baby's diet. If all else fails, we know she'll eat Cheerios for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, or just for fun if she finds one on the floor. Ew.
Since Mommy stays at home, there are many chores to be done during the day. Here Kaitlyn is being a big helper:
As she nears her 9 month checkup, Kaitlyn is starting to sleep longer at night. We still have to get up 4 out of 7 nights for a 4am feeding, but she is sleeping 8 hours in a row for the most part. Naps have always been an inconsistency, but when she does go down, she is such a cute sleeping babe!
Our petite girl is growing fast! Her 9 month checkup was in March....more details in the next posting!
